A wide range of graphs can be generated from the results files written after each Petro$2or consolidation run. The graph specifications are selected from this form.

The data to be plotted and type of graph is selected from the panel headed Select Graph. For all plots except those showing production data, a Discount Rate can be selected; the options are the six discount rates defined in the data file used to generate the results being plotted. Similarly, if deflation factors were defined in the data, the graph can be in nominal (money of-the-day) or real (deflated) terms and, for cash flow graphs, if a before tax analysis had been specified, before or after tax cash flows can be plotted. The final panel is displayed when a bar graph or pie chart is selected and enables selection of two or three dimensional plots.

When the specifications of the plot have been selected, the button View is clicked and the graph will be displayed. This example is an all costs, stacked 3D bar graph and, as can be seen from the Y-Axis caption, is in nominal terms, discounted at 10%.

The graphics system allows extensive customisation of all graphs, whether generated from output files or sensitivity analyses.

By clicking with the right mouse button on any part of the graph, a menu is displayed which allows the selection of a range of sub-menus; from these, many features of the graph can be changed or new ones added. These include graph format, colours and patterns, scales, titles, fonts, print specifications, adding data labels, statistics, or comments, etc. By double-clicking on any part of the graph, the specifications of that element can be directly modified. The customisation system includes its own, comprehensive Help file.
